My name is Lianne Murphy, I currently work in IT services and I live in the United Kingdom.
Since moving into my first home in my early 20’s, I started becoming increasingly aware of the alarming amount of single use plastic I would regularly throw away. As a young, single woman at the time, I was horrified about the potential harm my consumption off single use plastic would be having to our planet, and could only imagine how this would rapidly multiply in households larger than mine. However, after some online research, I found that there didn’t seem to be many accessible, affordable or effective alternatives on the market to the products we all rely on. Until the last five years or so…
After testing all manner of eco-friendly “swaps” over the last few years, resulting in some keepers, and a fair few losers, I decided to begin documenting my experiences, in the hope that they can help and advise like-minded friends of the planet.
